Keep your eye out for ongoing changes to the AllStarBassFishing.Com webpage. As we ramp up in the 2018 tournament season, the information will be flying and the updates will keep the site fresh so you will have to provide some feedback if your favorite section has suddenly been moved.

The latest change provides a weekly update to the “Featured Anglers” section of our homepage. This section will allow a few angler pictures and profiles to be selected for increased exposure. The selection process is still a bit rough and will continue to be tweaked but general standards will include any of the All Star Bass Fishing members who are performing well in recent or current tournaments, Sponsorship Challenge front runners or past winners, Sponsors who fish, and New Members.

Here is our first Featured Anglers crew and short explanation to get you started:

Jeremy McKay finished 2017 really well and doesn’t intend on slowing down anytime soon. Keep up with his WWBT finish this weekend to see if he can hang on to his 4th place day one spot and make a big time Top 10 cut at Lake Shasta. Exciting times for this angler just months before he takes a shot at a National Title in The Bass Federation National Championships at Bull Shoals in April. Jeremy has a growing fan base at home but none more dedicated than his wife, Wendi, who is on the boat with him often or in the audience at larger events waiting to hear how the bite was on the water.

Art Ferreira is the proud owner of Drain Raider Rooter and Plumbing in Eugene, Or. Sponsor of All Star Bass Fishing, Bass Battles, and Team Owner/ Captain of the Team Drain Raider Bass Fishing Team, Art puts an amazing amount of his own time, energy, and money in support of a sport very familiar to him called Bass Fishing. You will see Art at various tournaments fishing this year but will also see him behind the wheel, behind the camera, behind the scales, and everywhere else there is a Bass Battle or All Star Team event going on. You can’t argue with his success over the years or the mantra he preaches, “Go fish and HAVE FUN!”

Bryan Chapman, Owner of Willamette Weapon Custom Lures, is not only a sponsor donating his hand-painted crankbaits to the Sponsorship Challenge but a huge fan of Bass Battles and Bass Fishing in general. It doesn’t take long in a conversation with Bryan to hear his passion for this sport and the attention to detail he has when it comes to learning about what bass eat and when. You will see Bryan at 503 Basserzz events this year and stay tuned for some informational videos that we will collaborate on later in the year to show what a Willamette Weapon is really capable of.

Kevin Snelling is another 503 Basserzz member and also a member of Team Premier Comfort, our second team in the newly formed Team League. Kevin is a dedicated angler that wants to see the sport grow. He is often seen volunteering his time to help at tournaments and fishing events, if he is fishing in them or not. The All Star Bass Fishing Sponsorship Challenge for January has Kevin in the running for the $500 cash prize by sharing social media posts and including his own spin on what he likes about the new brand using #AllStarBassFishing. Look for Kevin online or at a boat ramp near you in 2018!

Vic Fejeran was our first Sponsorship Challenge entry to post a video on Social Media and showed everyone how easy it is to get the new All Star Bass Fishing logo put on your boat. After looking more into Bass Battles, Vic also put himself on the list to take his shot at the Bass Battles seeding event at Siltcoos Lake in March hoping to advance to the bracket rounds and secure one of the spots in the TBF National Semi-Finals this year. Vic is an avid bass fisherman looking to field test tackle and increase his brand promotion skills while having some fun, winning some prizes, and experiencing a different tournament format than he is used to.

Rick Perkins and Ricky Perkins are both new additions to the All Star Bass Fishing membership. Rick is another recent entry into the Bass Battles Season Two event but he will be competing in the Columbia River event held in June later this year. His son, Ricky, is an All Star Bass Fishing Sponsor through his hand pour business, Perks Custom Baits. Both of these anglers have proven themselves on the water and also that Perks Custom Baits work on the river. You can look for these baits to hit our Field Testers this Summer but if you can’t wait until then, check out the webpage and order some slim sticks!
